Prep for a flawless wax with The Meltdown Machine! This unique warmer melts hard or soft wax with a removable silicone liner that helps minimizing wax waste. Easy-to-use digital temperature display gives you the perfect temperature every time.

How to Use
  • Plug wax warmer in. The screen will display OFF. 
  • Dial turns 360° to adjust temperature. Temperature can be adjusted with one click turn of the dial. The starting temperature is 95°F and the highest temperature is 257°F. 
  • Quickly turn the dial to set the desired temperature.
  • The bottom light will appear red as it’s heating. Once warmer reaches the constant and desired temperature, it will turn green. 
  • To turn off the wax warmer, turn the dial counterclockwise to the lowest temperature of 95°F. Then, click one time counterclockwise to turn the unit off. 

Warnings:

  • Do NOT store wax warmer where it could fall or be pulled into a bathtub, sink, or other wet area.  
  • Do NOT place wax warmer into water or any liquid. Always keep the area surrounding the warmer dry.
  • If the warmer falls into water, unplug it immediately. Do NOT reach into the water. 
  • As with all electrical devices, plugged-in devices are electrically alive even when the switch is off.  Always use caution. 
  • Note: When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be followed.

FAQs

Find the most frequently asked questions below.

  • To clean the outside of the warmer: Make sure The Meltdown Machine Wax Warmer is turned off, completely cool, and unplugged. Wipe any excess wax off with baby oil or alcohol. Do not use water or soap! 
  • To clean the silicone liner: Remove any dried, excess wax from the liner. Spray and wipe the inside and outside of the silicone bowl with alcohol to help dissolve any remaining wax. Dishwasher safe. Do NOT use baby oil.

  • To turn on the warmer, turn the dial clockwise to select the desired temperature. The bottom light will turn green when the desired temperature is reached. 
  • To turn off the wax warmer, turn the dial counterclockwise to the lowest temperature of 95°F. Follow up with one firm click to the left to turn the unit off. 

  • Make sure the unit is plugged in and turned off.
  • Fill the silicone liner with 3-4 ounces of wax beads.
  • Turn the dial to the highest heat setting (257°F) and let the wax completely melt. 
  • When the wax is melted, it will be too hot to use. Turn the dial to a lower heat setting (around 120°F) and allow it to cool.

  • Use any of our Get a Grip Face & Body Applicators to test if wax is ready.
  • Dip the applicator into the wax and pull it out. If the wax is thin like water, it’s too hot!
  • When the wax is thick and drips like honey (about 120°F), it’s ready to use. 
  • Always start with a test strip on your inner arm to make sure the wax isn’t too hot.
