Yes, this is exactly who it was formulated for. Reactive, hormonal-acne-prone skin tends to flare with talc and synthetic fragrance, both out of this formula.
Most pre-wax powders use talc and aluminum, which flare reactive skin and clog facial pores. We swapped both for organic aloe leaf powder and food-grade sodium bicarbonate. The wax still gets the dry, oil-free surface it needs to grab hair, but your skin doesn't pay for it
Mandatory for face waxing. Strongly recommended for bikini line and underarm work. Skipping it on the face is the #1 cause of skin lifting (when a patch of skin pulls off with the wax).
Not necessarily. We recommend powdering anywhere that has extra moisture or oil such as the pubic area or underarms. We do not recommend powdering the face unless the skin is extremely oily.
The Wail of a Time Talc-Free Priming Powder is designed to absorb excess oil and moisture so the wax can adhere better to the skin. It’s an optional step depending on what area is being waxed.
Use the Wail of a Time Talc-Free Priming Powder as the second prep step BEFORE waxing.
It’s super important to have clean, exfoliated skin prior to waxing.
