  1. Place wax in warmer on high heat until fully melted.

  3. For best results, ensure hair is at least ¼ inch long (about as long as a grain of rice).
  4. Cleanse skin with Ride or Cry AHA Exfoliating Splash. If needed, dust skin with A Wail of a Time Talc-Free Priming Powder.
  5. Apply wax in a smooth, downward motion, regardless of direction of hair growth.
  6. When the wax is no longer sticky, keep skin taut and pull the strip off in one quick motion.
  7. Once waxing is complete, apply Just Cool It Calming Mango Gel followed by You Big Softie Finishing Oil for that post-wax, ultra-glowy, smooth skin.

FAQ

Our waxes are designed to be as painless as possible.

With premium ingredients, special formulations, and proper pre and post-wax care products, waxing even the most sensitive areas with Crybaby Wax doesn't have to be a painful chore.

For most areas of the body, it’ll feel like pulling off a band-aid.

Yes! Part of our goal when formulating was to create a wax that would remove not only fine hair, but coarse hair as well.

If your skin is sensitive, we recommend using the I’m Sensitive Meltdown Vegan Hard Wax for facial waxing.

Nope, the wax itself acts as your strip when it dries. Once the wax is no longer sticky to the touch, pull the strip in one quick motion parallel to the skin to remove hair. Ta-da!

It depends on the size of the areas being waxed and how often, but here’s a general guideline:

  • For facial waxing every 1-2 weeks, a jar will typically last 3-4 months.
  • For waxing larger areas every 2-3 weeks, a jar will last about 2-3 months.

  • The best length for wax-ready hair is ¼ inch (about the length of a grain of rice.)
  • If your hair is shorter than that, all the hair may not be removed and might require multiple passes.
  • If your hair is longer than ½ inch, waxing will be more painful, and the hairs can break off instead of being fully removed. This can lead to ingrown hairs and irritation.

  • Keep your wax at room temperature.
  • If wax does get warm and the beads stick together, it will not affect its performance.
  • Break the pieces apart and heat in The Meltdown Machine Wax Warmer.

Both of our waxes are made to be as painless as possible and remove both
coarse and fine hair.

The main difference between the two waxes is the I'm Sensitive Meltdown Vegan Hard Wax is free from artificial dyes and mineral oil.

If your skin is more sensitive or prone to ingrown hairs, we recommend using the I'm Sensitive Meltdown.
